This safari trail takes you to the most famous parks in Kenya. All accommodation shall be in very comfortable permanent tented camps in which you have options to choose your preference. You shall be touring in a luxury private safari minivan with a guide throughout your safari and back to Nairobi.

This safari trail takes you to the most famous parks in Kenya. All accommodation shall be in very comfortable permanent tented camps in which you have options to choose your preference. You shall be touring in a luxury private safari minivan with a guide throughout your safari and back to Nairobi.

  • DAY 1: NAIROBI / SAMBURU

Day 1: Nairobi-Samburu

Pick up will be done from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and drive to Samburu. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, relax and later on go for an afternoon game drive. Samburu National Reserve is situated at the southeastern corner of Samburu District in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It is bordered to the south by Ewaso Nyiro River, which separates it from the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. You might spot the rare northern specialist species such as the Gravy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the Miracle Lioness that adapted the baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve). Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded. After the game drive, you shall get back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 2: Full Day at Samburu National Reserve

You shall wake up in the morning for an early game drive and go back to the lodge for breakfast. Today you shall spend the rest of the day in the wild on game drive and have lunch under shade/trees as you will have carried packed lunch. Later after the evening game drive, you shall go back to the lodge and have diner then carry on to rest.

Dinner & Overnight at Lodge/Hotel

Day 3: Samburu-Aberdare

You will be up in time for an early morning game drive and go back for breakfast at the camp. You shall then be picked and drive to Aberdare to arrive in time for lunch at Aberdares. On arrival, check in, unpack and rest. You will enjoy the view of the wildlife at the comfort of your room. You shall then have dinner and later retire to your bed.

Day 4: Aberdare-Lake Nakuru National Park

You shall be up in time for breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter, you shall be picked and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy your delicacies after which you shall enjoy an afternoon game drive surrounded by forests and plains that are home to the lion, rhino, leopard and large herds of waterbuck. You shall also visit the baboon cliff one of the highest points on the hills surrounding the lake with stunning views and a picnic site where you shall enjoy the scenery while shopping at the curio shops.You shall be driven back to the hotel for dinner as you retire to your bed at night.

Day 5: Nakuru-The Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will leave for the Maasai Mara, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in the maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the Northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Famous for its annual migration of the wildebeest. You will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy the lodge’s delicacies. You shall afterwards go for an afternoon game drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Dinner & Overnight at Lodge/Camp

Day 6 & 7: The Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you shall spend the rest of the two days while enjoying the morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Wildlife is abundant in the reserve with gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including Immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. Every year,the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats- Lion, leopard and cheetah follow the wildebeest, essentially for their main source of food, into the Mara. So the Mara at this time is packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast you will check out and drive back to Nairobi. Lunch today will be at own cost. You will later be dropped off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your flight.
