Balloon safari is one of the most sought after experience. This safari takes you to Masai Mara National reserve which is well known for wildebeest migration and the big five. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife so abundant like the Masai Mara and for this reason it is regarded as a jewel in Kenya. You will also have an eagle eye view of the Masai Mara plains teaming with wildlife while riding in the hot air balloon.

Itineraries

Day 1

NAIROBI-MAASAI MARA

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Masai Mara with a brief stop at Mai Mahiu view point from where you will view the great rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will have a late afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. The Mara reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your foray into Masai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush. Back to the lodge around 6PM. Day 2

BALLOON SAFARI MAASAI MARA

On this day you will wake up early for your balloon safari where you will have an eyes view of the game reserve. After the balloon safari you will have a champagne breakfast in the bush and afterwards proceed for a full day tour game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Day 3

MAASAI MARA-NAIROBI/DEPARTURE

You will have an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge and have breakfast. After breakfast you will depart from the lodge return to the bustling Nairobi city, arriving in the afternoon.
