It begins at Lake Nakuru National Park, then to the world cup of wildlife that is Maasai Mara for 2 nights in the bush, then to Naivasha before finally ending with the Amboseli National Park. Itineraries

Day 1

NAIROBI TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Approx. Distance: 156km Time: 3hours You shall be picked up from your hotel residence or the International Airport before being driven to the Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way you shall have a crisp view of the rift valley formed as result of land faulting. Upon arrival you shall check into the hotel located inside the park and have lunch. After lunch and a period of relaxation you will then have your afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which is also known as a bird watchers paradise. It is quite common to find a flamboyance of flamingos feeding from the lake and hence giving the Lake a distinct pink hue in the parts covered by them. Day 2

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO MAASAI MARA

Approx. Distance: 195.8km Time: 4hours Rise up early and have your breakfast before heading to the Maasai Mara also known as the world cup of wildlife in Africa. This area of preserved savannah wilderness covers an area of 1510km2 and is part of the vast Serengeti plains. It is widely known for its picturesque wildebeest migration. It is home to the big five that is the lion, the buffalo, the rhino, the elephant and the leopard among other magnificent animals such as the giraffes, black backed jackal, bat eared fox, Thomson gazelle, topi and hartebeest. It also harbours over 500 different species of birds such as ostrich, bustard, white backed vulture, secretary bird and marabou stork. Upon your arrival you will proceed to your lodge for your lunch before you head out for an afternoon game drive through the astounding reserve. Day 3

FULL DAY MAASAI MARA GAME DRIVES

Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve, the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go you will see a frequent amount of wildlife. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. After your afternoon game drive you retire to your lodge where you shall have your dinner before heading to bed and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle. Day 4

MAASAI MARA TO LAKE NAIVASHA

Approx. Distance: 228km Time: 4hours 30mins After an exhilarating two nights within this astounding reserve you shall depart to your next destination known as Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty abound in bird life such as fish eagles, ospreys, lily trotters, a variety of herons and over 200 more species. You will enjoy a boat ride on the glittering lake Naivasha and view the herds of hippos and various water birds found within the lake. Day 5

LAKE NAIVASHA TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Approx. Distance: 356km Time: 6hours You shall rise early, have your breakfast then begin your journey to the Amboseli National Park. Arrival will be in time for lunch before embarking on your afternoon game drive. You shall embark on a search for the free range tusked elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, Maasai giraffe among other animals. Here you will also get to enjoy the breath-taking photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro depending on the weathers cooperation. After this you will head back to your lodge for the night. Day 6

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI/DEPARTURE

Approx. Distance: 214km Time: 4hours On this final day of your safari you shall rise up and head back into Nairobi. You will then be dropped off at your hotel residence or the International airport for your International flight homebound.
