Itineraries

Day 1

NAIROBI TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

DISTANCE: 232.6KM TIME: 4HRS 30MINS Upon arrival you will be met by our company representative and your driver guide at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After which you will be driven to the Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in search of the free range tusked elephants, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, Masai giraffe among other animals. Here you will also get to enjoy the breath-taking photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro; weather permitting. Return to the camp in the evening. Overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli. Day 2

AMBOSELI TO LAKE NAIVASHA

DISTANCE: 309KM TIME: 6HRS Depart from Amboseli after an early breakfast and drive towards Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for lunch. After which you will head out to Naivasha to discover its best kept secret; the Crescent Island. This wondrous island is in Lake Naivasha which is a beautiful freshwater lake fringed by thick papyrus and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty abound in bird life such as fish eagles, ospreys, lily trotters, a variety of herons and over 200 more species. You will enjoy a boat ride on the glittering lake Naivasha and view the herds of hippos and various water birds found within the lake on your way to the island. At the island you get a chance to be up close to the array of wildlife such as giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeest, zebras, impalas and the elusive colobus monkey. Day 3

NAIVASHA TO MASAI MARA

DISTANCE: 216KM TIME: 4HOURS On this day you will have breakfast then head to the Mara. This area of preserved savannah wilderness covers an area of 1510km2 and is part of the vast Serengeti plains. It is widely known for its picturesque wildebeest migration. It is home to the big five that is the lion, the buffalo, the rhino, the elephant and the leopard among other magnificent animals such as the giraffes, black backed jackal, bat eared fox, Thomson gazelle, topi and hartebeest. It also harbors over 500 different species of birds such as ostrich, bustard, white backed vulture, secretary bird and marabou stork. Upon your arrival you will proceed to your lodge for your lunch before you head out for an afternoon game drive through the astounding reserve. All your flora and fauna related questions will be aptly answered by your driver guide as you make your rounds. Dinner and Overnight at the Enkorok Mara Camp Meal plan (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 4

FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

Have breakfast and then proceed for a full day tour game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. The morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common. Back to the camp in the evening. Day 5

MAASAI MARA TO NAKURU

DISTANCE: 216KM TIME: 4HOURS After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This day is spent game viewing within the park, which is renowned for its conservation efforts towards the black rhino. Have lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drives across the pink lake often referred as that due to its great masses of flamingos but due to high level of water and climate change, only few flamingos can be spotted. Look out for other wild animals like warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhino which were introduced to the park a few years ago. Day 6

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO NAIROBI

DISTANCE: 162 KM/TIME: 3 HOURS 30 MINS On your final day you will have breakfast then check out of your hotel. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon. Later be dropped at your hotel or at the airport for your international flight homebound. **************END OF SAFARI*****************
