16 Days Kenya and Tanzania Bush and Beach

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival have lunch and later enjoy the evening game drive. During the game drive you will have time to spot some of the animals at the park and later back to the hotel.

After breakfast you wil be picked up by one of our representative and drive to Masai Mara, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

After breakfast you will spend the rest of the day in game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara. So the Mara at this time is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.

0600hrs: On this day the guests will have an early breakfast at the camp and then equip with picnic lunches and drive to Isebania border (Kenya/Tanzania Border). On arrival the guests will do the immigration formalities to enter Tanzania side. After the immigration formalities, the guests will meet with a Tanzanian Safari guide and bid farewell to a Kenyan Safari guide.

The guests will drive to Serengeti National Park and have their entrance on the western end of Serengeti at Ndabaka gate. Once in the park the guests will continue with en route game drive to the camp in central Serengeti for rest, dinner and overnight.

0700hrs: On this day the guests will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives or full day game drives with picnic lunches from the camp.

The migratory and some resident wildebeest, which number over 1.5 million individuals, constitute the largest population of big mammals that still roam the planet. They are joined in their journey through the Serengeti Mara ecosystem by 200,000 plains zebras, 300,000 Thomson's gazelles and Grant's gazelle, and tens of thousands of Topi and Coke's hartebeests. Masai giraffe, waterbuck, impala, common warthog and hippopotamus are also abundant. Some rarely seen species of antelope are also present in Serengeti National Park, such as common eland, klipspringer, roan antelope, bushbuck, lesser kudu, fringe-eared oryx and dik diks.

0700hrs: On this day, the guests will have their breakfast at the camp and then with en route game drive proceed to Ngorongoro for a crater drive. On arrival at the crater entry gate the guests will descend over 600 meters into the crater floor to view wildlife with picnic lunches. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot without forgetting a large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

In the late afternoon, the guests will ascend from the crater and proceed to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

0700hrs: Breakfast at the lodge and then depart for Tarangire National Park. Whole day spent in Tarangire National Park with box lunches obtained from Arusha. Getting an opportunity to visit various places along Tarangire river and explore a number of different wildlife species available in the park without forgetting the largest population of Elephants in the Park. Later in the evening proceed to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Dinner and Overnight at: Lake Burunge Camp

Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and Dinner 

After breakfast you will drive to Arusha. Lunch will be along the way on own account. Upon arrival at Arusha you will be dropped at the airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar you will be picked up by the driver and driver to the hotel. Check in relax ready for dinner.

After breakfast you can choose to spend the two days at leisure or do site visits which can be booked upon request that is stone tour visit.

After breakfast you will spend the day at the hotel or having some tours and later on you will be dropped at the airport at 12 am in time for your 3 am flight. Lunch and Dinner will be on own account.
