TRIP SUMMARY

This safari trail takes you to the most famous parks in Tanzania. All accommodation shall be in very comfortable permanent tented camps in which you have options to choose your preference. You shall be touring in a luxury private safari vehicle with a guide throughout your safari and back to Nairobi.

Day 1 :

ARRIVAL NAIROBI

You will be picked up from the airport by one of our representative and drive to the hotel .Upon arrival you will have dinner on own account and rest.

Day 2 :

NAIROBI - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch and after lunch you will enjoy your afternoon game drive. Amboseli is located in the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest – whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You are likely to see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals. After the afternoon game drive, you will get back to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3 :

FULL DAY AT AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will depart to the park for the morning game drive and afternoon game drive and later be back at the camp.

Day 4 :

TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

0700hrs: 0600hrs: On this day the guests will have an early breakfast at the camp and then equip with picnic lunches and drive to Namaga border (Kenya/Tanzania Border). On arrival the guests will do the immigration formalities to enter Tanzania side. After the immigration formalities, the guests will meet with a Tanzania Safari guide and bid farewell to a Kenyan Safari guide. On this day depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park with Picnic Lunches. Upon arrival at the park you will spend the whole day game drive in Tarangire National park. After the game drive you will drive to Karatu where you will spend your night.

Day 5 :

LAKETARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO GAMEDRIVE

0700hrs: On this day, the guests will have their breakfast at the camp and then with en route game drive proceed to Ngorongoro for a crater drive. On arrival at the crater entry gate the guests will descend over 600 meters into the crater floor to view wildlife with picnic lunches.

In the late afternoon, the guests will ascend from the crater and proceed to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 :

SERENGETI FULL DAY GAMEDRIVE

After breakfast the clients will enjoy a full day game drive at Serengeti National park with picnic lunch boxes

Day 7 :

AMEDRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

0700hrs: On this day the guests will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives or full day game drives with picnic lunches from the camp.

Day 8 :

SERENEGTI – LAKE VICTORIA

On this day the guests will have an early breakfast at the camp. After the breakfast you will have an enroute game drive and drive directly to the shores of Lake Victoria. Upon arrival in the late afternoon you will check in time for lunch have lunch and later relax if you get time you can visit Bunda Market.

Day 9 :

LAKE VICTORIA – MASAI MARA ISEBANIA BORDER

0600hrs: On this day the guests will have an early breakfast at the camp and then equip with picnic lunches and drive to Isebania border (Kenya/Tanzania Border). On arrival the guests will do the immigration formalities to enter Kenya
side. After the immigration formalities, the guests will meet with a Kenyan Safari guide and bid farewell to the Tanzanaia Safari guide.

After breakfast you will drive to Masai Mara, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush thickets.

Day 10 :

MASAI MARA FULL DAY GAMEDRIVE

After breakfast you will spend the rest of the day enjoying a full day game drive at the park. Masai Mara is known for abundant wildlife in the Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. Every year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle; The Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara. So the Mara at this time is literally packed with wildlife, providing lucky visitors on safari with superb sightings of game.

Day 11 :

MASAI MAR A– LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Nakuru. Upon arrival have lunch and later enjoy the evening game drive. During the game drive you will have time to spot some of the animals at the park and later back to the hotel.

Day 12 :

DEPARTURE

After breakfast you will drive to Nairobi JKIA. Upon arrival in Nairobi you will have lunch on own account and later be dropped at the airport in time for the evening flight
