You may witness lions mating, cheetahs chasing gazelles, or a leopard resting on an acacia branch. The central Seronera area is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with lilac-breasted rollers, secretary birds, and martial eagles. Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated picnic site. The crater floor is home to around 25,000 large animals, including the endangered black rhino, large prides of lions, elephants, buffalo, spotted hyenas, and hippos in the Gorigor Swamp. The soda lake Lake Magadi often attracts flamingos and other waterbirds. Your guide will find a scenic spot for a picnic lunch inside the crater (often near the hippo pool).
