About Kilima Camp Amboseli

Kilima Camp Amboseli (also known as Kilima Safari Camp) is a comfortable tented camp located just outside Kimana Gate of Amboseli National Park. The camp sits on a large property with open views towards Mount Kilimanjaro and nearby waterholes that attract elephants and other wildlife.

It offers a practical and relaxed base for exploring Amboseli, with a good range of tented and lodge-style accommodation, a swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The location allows quick access into the park while providing more space and privacy than camps inside the main tourist circuit.

How do you Get to Kilima Camp Amboseli?

The camp is located near Kimana Gate on the eastern side of Amboseli National Park, offering convenient access to the park’s main game-viewing areas.

What Facilities are at Kilima Camp Amboseli?

The camp offers a mix of Classic Safari Tents, Superior Tents and Lodge Rooms. Most units have private balconies or verandas, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and views towards the plains or Mount Kilimanjaro.

Facilities include a large swimming pool with sundeck, restaurant and bar, lounge areas overlooking waterholes, a spa/massage centre, gift shop, nature room, and free Wi-Fi in the main public areas.
