How do you Get to Kibo Safari Camp?

Kibo Safari Camp is located about 2 km from Kimana Gate on the eastern side of Amboseli National Park.

By Air

Flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Amboseli Airstrip take approximately 45 minutes. From the airstrip it is a short 30–45 minute transfer to the camp.

By Road

The drive from Nairobi takes about 4.5 to 5 hours (approximately 250 km) via the Emali–Loitokitok road.

By Plane: 45 minutes • By Road: 4.5 – 5 hours

What Facilities are at Kibo Safari Camp?

The camp has 73 spacious self-contained canvas tents for single, double, triple and family accommodation. Each tent has a private veranda, comfortable beds, en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet.

Facilities include a large swimming pool, restaurant, lounge & bar, spa, gift shop, bonfire area, free Wi-Fi in the main areas, and 24-hour electricity.
