Soroi mara camp with Mara Triangle Safaris
Description
Soroi Mara Bush Camp – An Intimate, Gold Eco-Rated Retreat on the Banks of the Olare Orok River
Nestled in a lush riverine forest, Soroi Mara Bush Camp is an intimate, eco-conscious camp designed for travellers who seek a genuine connection with the African wilderness without sacrificing comfort. Its name, inspired by the Maasai word for “Place of the Wild Animals,” reflects the camp’s ethos—to provide an authentic safari experience that is both luxurious and deeply respectful of its natural surroundings. It is small and offers personalised services while providing all amenities to make you feel at home. As a Gold Eco-Rated property, the camp champions sustainable tourism, from its solar power systems to its support of the local community and the Ol Malaika Home for young Maasai girls.
Prime Location – In the Heart of Big Cat Territory, Steps from the Great Migration
The camp is discreetly ‘tucked away’ in a riverine forest on the banks of the seasonal Olare Orok River, situated in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Located in “Big Cat” territory, its prime position is close to one of the main wildebeest crossing points, offering exceptional access to the Great Migration between July and October. It is just 20 minutes from one of the main river crossing points and a convenient 10-minute drive from Ol Kiombo Airstrip, ensuring a quick and seamless transfer into the wild. With only 12 tents, guests can enjoy comfort, privacy, and stunning views in a truly natural and intimate setting. The camp is not fenced, allowing wildlife to roam freely, and is watched over by experienced Maasai Warriors for added peace of mind.
