5-Day Tanzania Safari Tarangire , Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by
your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Arusha is a relaxed safari town
located at the base of Mount Meru and serves as the main gateway to northern Tanzania
national parks. You will check in at Kalama Lodge where you will rest after your
journey. In the evening, your guide will provide a short safari briefing covering the
itinerary and what to expect in each park.

After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of
approximately 2–3 hours. Upon arrival, you will begin a full-day game drive with a
packed lunch inside the park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds, iconic
baobab trees, and diverse wildlife concentrated around the Tarangire River. It offers
excellent game viewing opportunities throughout the year. You will explore different
areas of the park in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and
various bird species. In the evening, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and
overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and travel towards Serengeti National Park via
the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and Maasai villages.The drive offers breathtaking
landscapes and cultural encounters along the way. Upon entering Serengeti, you will
enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains of the park. Serengeti is one of
the most famous wildlife destinations in the world, known for its rich predator population
and the Great Migration. You may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas,
wildebeest, zebras, and many other species.Later in the evening, you will proceed to your
lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

You will start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park,
offering the best chance to see predators such as lions and cheetahs before they retreat
from hunting activity. Afterwards, you will begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area, passing through scenic highlands and wildlife corridors. Upon
arrival, you will check in at your lodge located near the crater rim and enjoy the cooler
highland atmosphere.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game
drive with a packed lunch. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the
best wildlife viewing destinations in Africa due to its dense concentration of animals in a
natural enclosed ecosystem. You may see black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos,
flamingos, and many other species during your exploration of the crater floor. In the

afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha.Upon
arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
